Follow the SAP SE Supervisory Board The SAP SE Supervisory Board advises and supervises the Executive Board. The number of members in and the composition of the Supervisory Board are determined by the Articles of Incorporation and the Agreement of the Involvement of the European Employees in SAP SE. 📯 SAP Consultants - This is for you 🔔 I have heard often the phrase -> "I've sent you my cv, everything is there, my projects are there, why do we need to talk about it ?" And yes, I do agree, some conversations might not add any value to you, when talking to recruiters, however I want to touch base on this subject and share with you my overview. Why is important to talk about projects, company environment and achievements ? Well, having the opportunity to deliver on a high volume of requests I could sense that every business culture is different, every project is different as well as responsibilities. The benefit of talking in depth about projects with your agent is that he can move you to the next level based on the challenges you've had and value you've added. Most of the contractors want to achieve either a higher rate, either a great client on their cv, and sometimes they could be judged based on the years of experience. But let me tell you something, someone could have less years of experience but be part of a very challenging environment where he gained a lot more knowledge in a shorter period of time. In our days, clients want people that adapt quick and are able to perform well under-pressure in order to meet the deadlines and ultimately solve issues. Being part of a 3-4 years project full of challenges, can be a game-changer ! Invest in your time talking about projects ! Spotted today in The Register, another example of a poorly run migration, costing millions of additional tax pounds. Surrey County Council were replacing a 15 year old in-house SAP system with Unit4, and gave themselves unrealistic timescales from the start. The urgency was no doubt increased because SAP was coming to the end of support and a major update of hardware and software will have been required anyway. A key learning from this? Don't wait until your software is near end of support before upgrading or replacing it. Plan ahead, give yourselves time and budget for regular upgrades to prevent the risk from ever occurring.
