I'll stop when we've helped £1bn of new investment reach companies who otherwise would struggle to access venture capital. Building on this, he expressed his hope on behalf of the Department of Science Innovation and Technology "to continue to have a positive partnership with you, and work together to create a new golden age for UK tech." We are working to advance that goal with Government watching closely and supporting where they can, for which we are grateful.

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards are an annual event hailed as the benchmark for entrepreneurial success in Britain. Pleased to have served the board of Capital Enterprise, and sat on the Finance Sub-committee between 2015-2021. During this time, Capital Enterprise was the joint Fund Manager for the £50m London Co-Investment Fund. Capital Enterprise enables entrepreneurship in the Capital as the membership body for providers of enterprise support services in London. It is a not-for profit organisation owned by, and run for the benefit of, members and provides a wide range of support services to entrepreneurs in all 33 London Boroughs. Whilst working with Capital Enterprise I was lucky enough to help shape/develop/launch a number of invaluable initiatives, including the Fast Forward Pre-Accelerator for aspiring tech entrepreneurs, and OneTech, supporting under-represented founders to access the additional support and mentorship needed to succeed. I am very proud of these impactful programmes, especially OneTech which continues now, with close involvement from Capital Enterprise.
