    I am a volunteer with a Leics-based mental health befriending scheme (run by Age UK but for adults aged 18-65), which supports individuals who are suffering from isolation and loneliness due to mental ill-health. As a volunteer I spend a couple of hours each week with my 'befriendee', providing friendly companionship, practical support and someone to talk to. Age UK would love to hear from anyone who may have an hour or two to spare each week as some individuals have been on the waiting list…
