PPC and SEO: What's the difference? Both PPC and SEO help to increase the visibility of your business online by placing your website content on search engine results pages (SERPs) but they achieve it in different ways and timescales. If you're looking for quick results, opt for PPC. You'll be paying for your ads to appear at the top of SERPs when users are searching for the keywords you're targeting. SEO is a longer-term strategy to get your pages to organically rank higher in SERPs for target keywords. The results aren't as immediate as PPC but if you are continually working on optimising pages, your should consistently see your content rank highly. If your still buying solar leads from Bark and can’t get a decent return, this may help explain why. This just appeared on my feed on Facebook, leads are generated using generic top of the funnel ads like this, with customer info then being sold on to 4/5 fitters to maximise profit. Refund/return policies that are becoming tighter than a submarines window. Instead you could invest in running your own Facebook ads, on brand, showing off your accreditations, social proof, packages on offer etc etc Critically: they go to you and you alone and can be rang within 30 seconds of arriving while the lead is hot 🔥 Don’t go into another week with this being your strategy, or at least hedge and put some money into testing running your own and see the difference for yourself! "Not sure who needs to hear this but....." Well you have a problem then. If you're actively trying to use your marketing to generate sales and enquiries then you should 100% know exactly who needs to hear your message. If you're doing SEO to generate enquiries then your website should be speaking directly to your ideal client and their pains and problems. If you're doing PPC to generate enquiries then your landing page should be speaking directly to your ideal client and their pains and problems If you're using social media to generate enquiries then guess what......your content should be speaking directly to your ideal client and their pains and problems. And everything should then be geared to showing how you can be the solution to their problem. I love generating traffic for people. I love getting people to your website at the exact time they are looking to buy the services that you sell. But if your message isn't speaking to those people? Well we have some work to do don't we? Want your website to convert better (in quality & quantity) - remove any bait and switch from your calls to action.   Offering something attractive, like a demo or a trial, only to lead buyers to a page describing something less attractive, like a discovery call, isn't going to improve your conversion rates on the page or in the pipeline. They will notice, and a fair few will abandon the process out of frustration and loss of trust. Be honest with your visitors about what you offer, and be consistent in the language that you use throughout the experience, as well as in what you deliver when people do take you up on it.   If you don't have a trial, demo, or other higher order conversion to offer, don't say you do. Your buyers are not stupid. They know that, in many cases, they will have to talk to sales to actually procure a solution to a problem - so if that's what you have to offer, say so. Consistent, honest language in CTAs typically increases both conversion rate and quality.

CRO is crucial. When running lead generation campaigns on Google Ads, it's essential to nail this first. Your website’s conversion rate plays a big role. If you're a new ecom brand and you want to leverage email straight away, do this... 1. Get Klaviyo & sync it to your store 2. Create a popup with an offer for email. 10%, free shipping etc 3. Build a welcome flow with 3/4 emails sharing your offer and letting people know why they should buy from you. Add social proof where you can. 4. Build a 3 email abandoned checkout flow that subtly reminds people to buy and add an offer around email 2-3 5. Don't do anything else until you're at $10k a month in overall sales.

At the moment I'm auditing 10+ Klaviyo accounts per week One thing I'm seeing is a decline in new customer acquisition New website traffic + Pop Up form submissions in most Klaviyo accounts have been on a steady decline throughout this year This decline usually dates back 3-4 months before they realise their is an issue and they reach out for an audit It's important to stay on top of your marketing that is geared towards new website visitors as opposed to retargeting The performance of this is a leading indicator of your sales in a few months time
