I learned a lot about the difficult steps it takes to create a successful company and what skills are required. Being able to work in a team environment, create projected financial statements, and learn how to find distribution networks and place our product in stores were both difficult and valuable tasks that we had to accomplish.

    Awarded to students entering first year of the HBA program based on financial need and minimum 'B' average. The award will be renewed for year two for students maintaining the defined criteria in HBA year one. If a student does not meet these requirements, year two students will have an opportunity to apply for this award.
