“Diana's leadership as the Digital Experience Design Manager at Slimming World has been nothing short of transformative. Under her helm, Diana not only built the DXD team but also united the team, formulating a cohesive and agile team capable of pioneering solutions in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. I've had the privilege of working alongside Diana, and it's her strategic acumen combined with her 'think-outside-the-box' approach that truly sets her apart. More than her impressive expertise in UX/UI design and digital strategy, it's her innate ability to coach, guide, and uplift her team that truly impressed me. Diana's dedication is to create a space where innovation thrives while ensuring each team member feels valued and supported. Her extensive background in UX and UI has helped transform our digital platforms at Slimming World. Working with Diana, it's evident that she's not just a manager; she's a leader, a mentor, and a wonderful colleague. Diana's commitment to ensuring user-centric, engaging, and visually captivating products, coupled with her warm and collaborative approach, makes her an invaluable asset. I wholeheartedly recommend Diana to anyone seeking a visionary in the realm of digital innovation and strategy.”

How can you use UX research planning to identify opportunities for innovation?
It's helpful to think about what you are trying to understand from your research. This will help you think about which methods will be best. Below is a quick overview to help you choose your methods according to your research goals: 1. Qualitative data is best for understanding the underlying reasons, opinions, and motivations behind user behaviours. (User interviews, focus groups, observational studies) 2. Quantitative data is most effective when you need to quantify problems or opinions and generalise results from a larger sample population. It's great for validating hypotheses formulated during qualitative research. (Surveys and questionnaires, usability metrics, analytics) The most important thing = Talk to your users

How can you use UX research planning to identify opportunities for innovation?
A useful way to define a research goal is to consider the alignment between your users' needs and your business goals and objectives. Finding the sweet spot between both helps keep the research relevant, actionable and aligned with the overall business strategy. Here are some tips: 1. Start by establishing a clear understanding of what the project aims to achieve. This could involve addressing a specific user need, solving a problem, or exploring a new market opportunity. 2. Conduct an internal audit to determine the data you currently have and shed light on the data you need to get. This will help create the scope for your research. 3. Clearly define what will be delivered at the end of the project. 4. Ensure your objectives are SMART
