These reviews focus on the good or bad of websites that I give 59 seconds of my time to. In this case, multi-lingual translation of website pages is a major plus (that so many fail to do). It's just a shame that there's little depth to the product ranges available. It's super interesting to see that sites impacted by HCU can actually rank quite well in ChatGPT Search. However, it's not all great news. I tested a bunch of queries and found that in every case that an HCU site was showing, the answer the searcher was looking for was essentially provided by ChatGPT with little reason to click on the websites. How many case studies do you need on your website? 99% of the websites I look at get this wrong They have product or service pages on their websites. They may include a few case study excerpts on those pages – usually far too low down the page, and usually not directly related to the specific service/product being offered. Think like your potential customer who is looking at your product or service page. They’re thinking: How GOOD are you at this? They’re looking for a bare minimum 6-9 case study excerpts that: 1.  Are very prominent, high up the service or product page. 2.  Briefly introduce case studies specifically related to the service or product on offer. 3.  Have an additional ‘See More Case Studies’ type button that they can click and it opens up even more case study excerpts. They’ll see all that evidence of service/product-related work done for clients, and they’ll stay engaged with your website. SEO has been dying since 1997. "I’m beginning to believe that search engines are a dead-end technology and fretting over where your site comes up is a big waste of time." – Richard Hoy (26yrs ago) Richard was the first on record to announce the death of SEO, but certainly not the last. Other notable "deaths" since then: - Web 3.0 - Google Ads - Social media - Voice assistants - Featured snippets - Zero-click searches - Every Google update - TikTok "the new search" - ChatGPT replacing Google Here's the reality: - 15% of searches are brand new - Searches grow by ~10% every year - There are 8.5B Google searches daily - SEO is a $100B+ industry (and growing) - Search engines and SEO will always evolve - Search habits will take a long time to change Block out the noise. Continue learning, consistently repeating the fundamentals, and adapting to new technologies. SEO is only “dead” for those that don't. I'll leave you with one last quote from Richard: "Search engines are dying. In fact, I would say they are dead already and we just don’t know it yet."
