“I want to build luxury projects but I am struggling to land one” There is a very common theme with potential clients we speak to… Your website, marketing or messaging are not good enough. I met a prospective client who was complaining about not getting any results even though they kept paying monthly billings. I just asked for their GMB and website link. I looked at the GMB; everything looked normal there. Then I went straight to their website and opened 3-4 service pages. Without any other analysis, I could clearly see what the problem was. Well, the problem is, I searched their service names on Google to see the Google-suggested keywords for those specific services. and there are many potential keywords available. but I see none of the service pages are targeting those potential keywords. They just added the title directly without focusing on the keywords suggested by Google, and H titles are almost generic. Long-content, internal links are fine, but all those pages have no keywords that Google suggested for those services. Now tell me, is it really possible when your competitors are already focusing on the best and potential keywords and ranking at the top of the search, and you have no idea what keywords you're focusing on? Even some keywords aren't matching the user intent. So the first thing their SEO provider didn't do was analyze the keywords, and they're doing lots of backlinks, posts, and other activities while keep billing them. The client asked them why they don't see results, and the SEO provider answered: "You have some extra plugins on your website, and you have to remove them; then we will see the result." Holy cow, seriously???? And the client told me that's a very popular company; how can I doubt them? I just told him, someone's popularity isn't going to rank your keywords. Then I just took some screenshots and showed him what I see. Now he understands everything, and hopefully, we will onboard him this week (multi-location client).

On site (Sunday-Tuesday this week) and there’s always something to fix before you can actually start work. 😤 Where’s the bloody carpet? 😤 Why is the power not in yet or where it should be? 😤 The stand won’t fit, why is the space smaller than expected? 😳 So and so’s not turned up! 😳 Time’s ticking. Time costs, we can’t stretch this out, got to fix it NOW!? And many more… BUT…. We always get it sorted, the client is (usually) none the wiser and the outcome is always a success. We work WITH the organisers/contractors/people on site towards a simple resolution. Usually in record time (if only government could take a leaf…😉). It’s this “can do” common sense approach that we (and so many others in our industry) just ride out as the ‘everyday’. We are the fixers, problem solvers, collaborators, the thinkers AND doers, the unsung heroes!💪😂 Here’s to the mighty exhibition and events industry and those that work within it!👊 Disclaimer. These are just a few common instances that have happened over many years (not all at one event!). No one’s being blamed, stuff happens. There’s always a fix….well, maybe not in Del, Rodney and Grandad’s case!😂

Brand Awareness > PPC (If you have a great product) If you are a 3 star or below product then PPC is the way to go. In fact you don’t even want to run ads with your brand because inevitably your ad is going to run into one of your old 1/2/3 star unhappy customers. But if you have great products and services you go for brand awareness because you want your brand running into your 5 star customers. They engage, they praise, they recommend. Seems easy doesn't it... we write a post on social media, click share and wait for all the masses of enquiries to flood in and inundate us with work Easy as that isn't it ?? Unfortunately not... Instead we sit and wait and no one responds. Checking every few minutes to see who has liked or commented. We start to worry... "Why does no one see the benefit of our offering?"
