But it’s not all good news… 📉💔 🔎 Trust in journalism is falling 🙈 News avoidance is rising 💸 Revenue streams are drying up 🤖 And AI? It’s shaking up EVERYTHING The risk? A “two-tier” system where some stay informed while others fall into news deserts or questionable online sources. So, what’s next? The Message in the message🌟 Yesterday we had the great pleasure of one of the UK’s leading national newspaper journalists - a writer I respect and enjoy very much, Fleur Britten spend time with us at our Publicity with Purpose home Bingham Riverhouse Fleur was so generous and spent two hours deeply listening to the group share their work and message, and talked a little about her own career and journalistic passion. We first connected when Fleur interviewed me for a Sunday Times Style magazine where she worked for a number of years before she went freelance, for an article on purpose around the time the first edition of my book came out in 2018. Thanks Jo Burgess Hay House, Inc. for creating that connection. Yesterday was a great day. Being able to remove some of the barriers which stop individuals without what Fleur described as “a big PR machine,” from accessing the opportunity to have their message heard and amplified, is a big driver for me. Every member of the group who shared did so well. Allowing ourselves to be authentically seen takes courage. They all left bigger. I’m committed to contributing to a media which points people toward the power within themselves for answers and solutions, rather than to something external. While the modalities and services offered by the individuals I work with varies, they’re all pointing people back to the power they forgot they already had. Given how far we’ve travelled in the opposite direction. Increasingly, I wonder if it isn’t (though the delivery can be rich in diversity,) the only message left to share. *I help coaches and consultants amplify their message through visibility. Some agencies big and small appoint people for new business and give a fancy title like head new business i was given this title twice but clients will work with the agency based on credentials and past success stories people likes us can get the agency involved in a pitch or get on board one or two clients loyal to us rest is up to what we as a agency bring to the table! #advertising#agencylife#newbiz#pitch
