Another busy week of events and lots of discussions on the back of the UK budget and the US election and the potential impact of both on NI SMEs. The week started with an insightful update from Sumer Northern Ireland, followed by the fantastic Belfast Chamber Economic Conference on Wednesday (thanks to Clare Guinness CDir and Lisa Comerton for inviting Paul Millar and Una Warnock to discuss the NI funding landscape) and finishing today with the Danske Bank UK NI Economy and markets update webinar. Also a daytrip to Birmingham thrown into the mix for Rhona Barbour and Neil McCabe to catch-up with British Business Bank and other UK fund managers. Whilst challenges lie ahead for NI SMEs, there continues to be lots of opportunities, positivity and ambition within our economy and we look forward to supporting businesses in their next stage of growth.
