We were so excited to reach the final stop of EV Rally Cymru at Bay Technology Centre Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council last week that it took a while to sink in that Team Voltric had the FASTEST EV in the rally! Specifically, it was our MG4 that won and the astonishing part of that is that we committed to only using AC charging (sometimes known as slow charging) for the MG4 for the whole trip, proving that you can complete 500mile journeys on only home charging or lower voltage chargers that may be more readily available in some areas. To say we were thrilled was an understatement, but we're even happier we were able to demonstrate the fantastic EV infrastructure of Wales and EV capabilities. #Bywrdaith #Livethejourney GREENFLEET Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government

On the final day of Wales Climate Week, we’re reflecting on such an informative and eye-opening five days. 💡 From attending virtual conferences on Infrastructure and Business, Economy, & Finance and taking part in an EV Rally Cymru with Voltric to hosting our very own Climate Change Staff Network event, we have explored this year’s theme: adapting to our changing climate. Just checked in at CP5, on Day 1 of the GREENFLEET EV Rally Cymru, with Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government. We're at the stunning Rhug Organic Estate, on 1 of the 8 x InstaVolt chargers, and connection was seamless, thanks to our Charge Card Partner, Voltrics RFID card, supported by the Paua Rangers.
