Last week’s agreement in Baku at #COP29 upheld the spirit of multilateralism amid geopolitical and economic uncertainty and set the stage for the next decade of climate action. While this is a step in the right direction, more funding and concrete measures are required to truly address the climate crisis.    Urgent action is vital. Leaders must double down on turning these latest finance commitments into reality, strengthening partnerships between finance providers and developing countries, and ensuring the plans and project pipelines are in place for finance and technology to flow.    TBI stands ready to work together to ensure that the commitments made at COP29 translate into real and impactful climate action where it is needed most.    #climatechange #technology #finance #investment #sustainability

Compounding the crisis, regional fragmentation - seen vividly in ECOWAS’ struggle to coordinate cross-border responses - is deepening instability.
