Inside the Windsor Tavern 🍻☕️🍷 A winter light trail has an obvious challenge: the weather. The Windsor Tavern is our custom build at IMG's Windsor Great Park Illuminated, allowing guests to enjoy a mulled wine or two in the warm and dry - whatever the weather.  Our Events team outdid themselves this year, stringing garlands and decorating trees to ensure that the tavern is as festive as can be, and our bar provider Jim & Tonic are keeping guests happy night after night with their attention to detail and service. It's the perfect spot for a post-walk warm up and catch up 🍷

New supplier alert: Pour x Pour 🍻 Looking for an effortlessly chic addition to your event? You just found it.  A fully equipped bar built into a classic Landrover Defender 110, Pour x Pour can pour up to six lines of chilled craft beer, bubbly, and a full line of classic cocktails - and looks great while doing it.  They're a family run business based in the Cotswolds and we've tipped them to really take off in 2025.

Plenty of brands start as street food trucks & traders before opening a bricks & mortar restaurant - but Chick'n'Sours did things the other way round. Founder David Wolanski talks about how their presence at festivals feeds their restaurants, and vice versa.

About last night 💃 The UK Festival Awards is always a highlight of our calendar and a great opportunity to catch up with industry friends & colleagues (and to kickstart the festive season). This year we were honoured to be the event's F&B partner, working with Ceylon & Beyond to provide a Sri Lankan feast for the ages, some truly delicious cheesecake from Evelyn's, and late night pizza from Wild Pizza. We were also nominated for The Innovation Award - shout out to the Chevron Stage at Reading & Leeds for taking home the big win - AND presented the Best Large Festival Award to the Isle of Wight Festival. What a celebration of the creativity and resilience of our amazing industry. Until next year 🕺

How a love of South East Asian flavours led to 10 years of fried chicken success and popups at the UK's biggest festivals 🍗 Chick'n'Sours have been at the forefront of London's fried chicken scene since 2015, when they changed the game with their South East Asian inspired flavours, zingy sides, and sour cocktails. More recently, they expanded into events and you'll have seen their food truck at many of the UK's biggest festivals - including many of the events we ran this summer.  David & Cohen invited us to their Haggerston restaurant (a local favourite of our team) to talk about how they've done it and the secrets to their success. Tom Cruise, Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, James Blunt, the entire crew of Antiques Roadshow…what do these people all have in common? 🤔 They’re all part of the 500,000 people who have requested & booked events with us. That’s equivalent to the population of Leeds - incidentally where 16,000 of those events were based. Since our launch in 2018, we’ve made hundreds of millions for independent event suppliers, seen our events attended by over 30 million people and fundamentally shifted the way that people in the UK throw events. We’ve worked on parties ranging from 2 people (a romantic dinner party), right up to the largest event in the whole of the UK for 1.5 million people (Pride in London) and just about everything and anything in between. Next week we'll be sharing some of the most unusual events we’ve ever been asked about, so keep your eyes peeled for that, but for now - we’re off to celebrate hitting the half a million mark.
