To celebrate the launch of A Night on Earth in Jerez de la Frontera, the latest release in the series, The Macallan hosted an immersive full day experience in the home of sherry wine. Guests were invited to discover the profound connection between Jerez and The Macallan, by exploring the vineyards and the sherry seasoned casks that one day will mature The Macallan's exceptional single malt. A warm welcome at Bodega Valdespino, that had been transformed into a traditional Jerez tabanco, awaited them. Spanish guitar music, flamenco and orange trees adorned the evening where guests enjoyed a New Year's Eve inspired dinner, fostering an atmosphere of togetherness and joy. An exclusive unveiling of A Night on Earth in Jerez de la Frontera was presented, showcasing a truly unique expression crafted with a balanced combination of European and American sherry seasoned oak casks. The presentation box has been designed by Jerez-born artist, Maria Melero and was inspired by experiences of the festive season in her home city in Southern Spain. Maria captured her sensations and emotions of New Year’s Eve to create a truly unique unboxing experience. To conclude the evening, a New Years’ celebration took place, featuring the traditional Spanish countdown of 12 grapes. In a unique twist, the grapes were replaced with 12 drops over a celebratory cocktail crafted with A Night on Earth in Jerez de la Frontera.
