The Motherhood Group are thankful for all who attended, spoke at, sponsored, and supported our annual Black Maternal Health Conference UK 2024. This event brought together over 450 individuals, both in-person and online, including students, allies, midwives, the community of Black mothers, doctors, charity CEOs, lawyers, members of parliament, and councillors, all united in our commitment to improving Black maternal health outcomes. We explored crucial themes including addressing health inequalities and achieving equity, mental health and well-being, challenging institutional racism and bias, media representation and perception, pregnancy loss and support, and lived experiences and personal stories. Our esteemed speakers delivered powerful keynotes and engaged in thought-provoking panel discussions, sharing their expertise, insights, and personal stories.
