I am thrilled to share that The Full EV is joining an exciting project, selected as one of only 7 companies and the sole representative from outside the TV and Film industry. This recognition highlights our significant contributions to the industry. Ffilm Cymru Wales and Media Cymru have invested £307,675 in seven innovative projects dedicated to enhancing the sustainability of Wales’ screen sector. These initiatives, spearheaded by film and TV production entities in the Cardiff Capital Region, focus on key aspects like power, transport, food, water, and construction materials. The Greening The Screen funding provided by Ffilm Cymru Wales & Media Cymru aims to nurture new ideas for fostering environmental sustainability within the sector. The projects, led by various production entities in the Cardiff Capital Region, address crucial production elements to create a more eco-friendly industry. What an incredible evening at the launch of Aura, Cardiff's newest restaurant located at The Coal Exchange in Cardiff Bay! We had the pleasure of sampling some of the fantastic food, wine, and cocktails that Aura will be offering, and I must say—they were all absolutely delicious. I’m already looking forward to booking a Sunday lunch in the coming weeks! The team, from the hosts to the bar staff, was exceptional—knowledgeable, passionate, and attentive. I see a very bright future for this restaurant. On top of that, I had the chance to meet the legendary Tamer Hassan, known for his roles in Layer Cake, The Business (one of my all-time favorites!), and of course, MasterChef. He was a true gentleman, sharing funny stories and chatting with everyone. One particularly memorable story involved some unusual fan requests involving calling their partners the C word (mine wasn't impressed) 😀 but that had us all laughing! A huge thank you to the team at Aura for a fantastic night. I’m excited for many more great evenings and delicious meals at your stunning new venue!

I started running 2 years ago in memory of a close friend who passed away from Cancer. I wanted to raise money and awareness, But I also wanted to set myself a personal goal, I wanted to achieve a sub 2 hour half Marathon. Last year I ran 2:152.00 despite training really hard all year I hadn't achieved my goal and felt I had failed! This year has been extremely challenging I have had with many professional and personal issues during the year which included losing my Mum in July, again due to Cancer. 😢 Even though this gave me some motivation it was hard battling that with the grief I felt from losing someone so special, and in the end I was not sure I had done enough. But what I underestimated was the knowledge I had gained from failing last year and the invaluable experience I had gained from that failure. So this year even without as much training it was my knowledge and experience that was the difference between success and failure. Running a more conservative race, not focusing on anyone else and sticking to a plan, learning from the mistakes I made last year helped me achieve this goal. And I have realised that these principles apply in all aspects of our lives both professionally and personally! Don't be afraid to fail, just learn from your failures! Failure is what gives you feedback, feedback gives you knowledge, knowledge gives you power!
