Sharing this post from Tim Robertson Founder of The Field Engineer community, about how The Field Engineer Community, through its The Field Engineer Job Board, is supporting the careers of engineers working in Field Service, Field Sales, and Field Applications Engineering etc. #job #hiring #talent #management #humanresources #technology https://lnkd.in/eX6hx8NV
If you work in Field Service/Sales/Applications, I created The Field Engineer community for you. If you Manage or Direct FSE, FAE, FxE, teams, we have private networks targeting your challenges too. It's free to join.
The most common messages I receive are from engineers looking for their next job, and from managers who can't fill their field engineering vacancies. The Field Engineer community is all about supporting engineers and helping them to progress their careers. And helping managers to run their teams successfully. This is why we created a Job Board, to run alongside The Field Engineer community. The Field Engineer Job Board is dedicated to Field Engineering related job opportunities to support our community members and the wider world of field-based engineering and service. I'll be frank. I've been disappointed by the low uptake on posting vacancies on the Job Board especially as so many managers contact me to say how hard it is to hire field engineers! Whether they be FSE, FAE , Field Sales, Commissioning etc. I'm also disappointed that so few engineers have posted their CVs or resumes on our Job Board, but tell me that they can't find a job. So from today we have launched a £5 fixed job posting fee to make job posting simple on The Field Engineer Job Board. If you are in HR / Talent Acquisition or manage teams of engineers, please do post your vacancies on our Job Board and help us support your company's field engineering careers and hiring. If you are looking for your next job in field engineering, please do upload your CV or resume to our Job Board. (Our £5 fixed price excludes VAT which is chargeable where applicable). #careers #jobs #engineering #commissioning #installation #career

What is it like to be starting a career in biomedical engineering in Kenya? Pius Kariuki is a biomedical engineering student based in Kenya. He is studying at Kenyatta University in Nairobi and is equally interested in technology and healthcare. In this article he shares his experience so far and his hopes for the future as an engineer. How does robotics overlap with biomedical engineering? Robotics plays a crucial role in the field of biomedical engineering, particularly in developing assistive devices and advanced surgical technologies. I recognise this vital intersection and believe that the future of healthcare lies in integrating the Internet of Bodies with robotics. As Daniel Kraft, MD aptly puts it, “The future of medicine is not just about treating disease but enabling a healthier life through connected devices.” I envision a healthcare landscape where these technologies significantly enhance patient outcomes and streamline healthcare delivery, ultimately transforming the way we approach medical care and improving the quality of life for countless individuals.
