📌 As I count my blessings for 2024, you (Sir. Sodiq) are definitely one of them. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be mentored by Mr. Sodiq A., an exceptional tech SEO expert. Being paired with him through The Freelance Coalition For Developing Countries mentorship program was a divine arrangement, and I'm grateful for the experience. Mr. Sodiq has been more than just a mentor who helped me improve my tech SEO knowledge. He has been a massive support system, cheering and encouraging me every step of the way. This has had a profound impact on my personal development and mindset shift as I continue in the tech space. I still recall the day before my convocation; my mentor was the first person to call and pray for me.🥺 His busy schedule didn't stop him from taking the time to bless me, and that meant a lot to me. He possesses outstanding charisma and teaching skills. I wish him continued growth and success in all his endeavours. I extend my gratitude to FCDC for facilitating the mentorship program and to SE Ranking for their sponsorship. This mentorship experience has been invaluable to my skills and personal growth, and I feel fortunate to have had this opportunity. I'm eager to pay it forward in the future.🙇 Here's to the continual growth of FCDC, SE Ranking, and a better mentorship cohort next year! 🥂

I help B2B businesses complete their sales cycles faster by optimizing their email strategy

Last week, I concluded what I describe as the most impactful event of my 2024. Here are facts about this event: 🔥 I didn't realize how much I needed it until I experienced it 🔥 It has set the course for my 2025 🔥 It can only get better from here Can you guess the event? It is the 2024 FCDC Skill Mentorship Program. This program has given me the chance to upskill and learn in tremendous ways. My thanks go to: 1. SE Ranking for sponsoring this mentorship program 2. The Freelance Coalition For Developing Countries for organizing this opportunity 3. Dr. Ayebanoa Benwari (MBBS UPH) for being my mentor and overdelivering. I'm still in awe of her personality. You all made 2024 a turning point year for my copywriting business and I can't thank you enough. Because I had a more direct interaction with Dr. Benwari, I have more to say. She helped me: ⚡Get unstuck from my overwhelm and information overload ⚡Streamline my processes and workflows ⚡Structure my pricing package and offers It was a joy learning from her these past weeks and my key takeaways are: ✍🏼 To always stay prepared for client inquiry ✍🏼 To have a plan and follow it ✍🏼To prioritize giving my clients a stress-free experience. I feel ready now more than ever! So if you run a B2B business or you are in sales or marketing in a B2B business and would like to explore a stress-free strategy to generate more revenue with your email marketing, I'm here for you. Send a DM or shoot me an email at hello (at) iheomaoparaugo (dot) com. See you there! It exceeded my expectations

Content Marketer for Product-Led SaaS Companies

We made a loss at The FCDC (tax year June 2023 to June 2024) In terms of revenue, we only generated about 15,000 GBP this year 😢 Every door I've knocked on closed Getting sponsors has been nearly impossible So, I'm reaching out early and publicly sharing our very short pitch deck We're looking for companies that want to become annual partners at 5,000 GBP a year. You can spread this out at 500 GBP a month for 10 months if that makes it easier Here's what we'll do with your funds: ✅ Host a dev cohort where we teach BIPOC folks developer skills ✅ Provide marginalized members with computers, internet access, and software licenses they need to upskill (we've received a lot of requests for this) ✅ Host a mentorship program and provide more support for members during the mentorship ✅ Host more in-person local meetups for BIPOC marketers to connect and network ✅ Pay community contributors to publish educational materials on our learning center ✅ Expand our talent section into a recruitment hub for community members looking for better-paying roles If you run a digital marketing agency or marketing software, we are perfectly aligned. I can't think of a more impactful way to give back to folks who could really use the help.

Content marketer and writer for SaaS B2B Companies. My niches include HR, fintech, cybersecurity, and education.

This always gives me sleepless nights! I offer content marketing services here on LinkedIn, but on the side, I write video scripts for YouTubers. It’s something I’m deeply passionate about. But nothing cuts deeper than seeing my clients’ videos not get the traction they deserve. It’s like a sharp knife straight to the heart. Sure, there’s the fear of getting fired, but beyond that, there’s my unwavering passion to see those videos go viral. And let me tell you, there’s no feeling like the one you get when your video hits a million views. (Yep, I’ve written scripts that have crossed the million-view milestone. It’s electrifying!) Because when my clients win, I win. More views mean more growth for them and more opportunities for me. But let’s face it. YouTube is tricky. Even the best videos can underperform if they’re not reaching the right audience. That’s why I recently decided to take a crash course with SEMrush Academy in YouTube marketing. (One thing I learned from last weekend’s lessons with Michael Asuquo-Eyo organized by the The Freelance Coalition For Developing Countries.) Because, honestly, what’s the use of marketing apples to someone craving bananas? I’m driven by two things: a burning passion for my clients’ success and a love for the hustle (and yes, the money that comes with it). Those two passions can go hand-in-hand. Don’t you think so? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

I know I'm supposed to be on a "break" but I couldn't resist posting this I went to London for the first time and finally met chima at the Clear Connect Network launch. This meant so much to me and I'll tell you why: See, Chima was the first person who made me believe I could dream bigger. Way back in late 2021, I think I was doing like $400 a month and I honestly thought I was killing it Until that faithful day I came across her post celebrating a six-figure year. I still remember staring at that post, feeling my whole world shift. It was like someone opened a door I didn't even know existed. I'm not even going to pretend, I went full stalker mode. I followed her everywhere online, watched every interview I could find on Google, and yes, I absolutely scrolled all the way back to her first LinkedIn posts to see how she built everything from scratch. While the money initially caught my eye at first, I began to love how she carried herself—her knowledge, her confidence, the way she wasn't afraid to stake her claim in the content strategy world. She didn't just talk about it; she really knew her stuff. I dove into her courses, studied her approach, and tried to learn everything I could. Gradually, chima began to notice my work, engage with my content, and even feature me in her blogs. And the growth kept coming in. $1k months turned into $2k+, then $3k+, then $6k+, then jumped to $10K+ and even $20K+. Looking back, it's actually crazy to think about how it all started with that one post that made me believe more was possible. Getting to talk to her in person was everything I hoped it would be. We also had this amazing conversation about next steps and elevating my career to new heights. So trust me, if you think I'm doing so well now, just wait. There's so much more coming. I have to thank Crystal for putting this whole thing together—the event was incredible. Every speaker brought their A-game. And special shoutouts to Jessica (thanks for the tickets!) and jadesola (you're literally the best community manager ever). P.S. The last photo captures a tired but happy moment with chima and Mahi. The food was fantastic, though we may have been a bit too ambitious with our order! 😄

📌 For our seventh mentorship session we looked at JavaScript rendering. JavaScript rendering refers to the process of using JavaScript to generate and display content on a website. This technique is commonly used in web development to create fast, scalable, and interactive web applications. It is useful for single-page applications, progressive web apps, and server-side rendered applications. JavaScript rendering benefits include: 🔹Improved user experience through fast and seamless page updates 🔹Personalized content through the use of saved data 🔹 Efficient handling of large amounts of data, making it ideal for data-intensive applications 🔹 Fast and efficient website loading However, JavaScript rendering also has some downsides. 🔸One major disadvantage is that it can take longer for search engines to crawl and index such websites. Unlike non-JavaScript sites, which can be easily crawled and indexed, JavaScript sites require search engines to crawl, render, and then index, resulting in a longer processing time. Websites built with JavaScript rely heavily on this technology. My mentor Sodiq A. demonstrated the importance of JavaScript rendering by turning off the setting on a website, which caused it to stop functioning properly. So, do you have a website built with JavaScript or a non-JavaScript website? ____________________________________ Eternal thanks to The Freelance Coalition For Developing Countries and SE Ranking for giving me the opportunity to upskill. 😊 ______________________________________ I'm Chioma Anunobi, an SEO content writer for tech brands.
