A leading construction company has been awarded a contract to take forward the multi-million-pound remodelling of the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery. Stoke-on-Trent-based SEDDON CONSTRUCTION LIMITED has been awarded a pre-construction service agreement, under a two-stage design and build contract, to carry out works as part of a £5 million masterplan which will see major improvements to the award-winning city centre venue. With the appointment of the company, based in Campbell Road, Stoke, the initial works are set to start ahead of the construction phase in 2025. ✍️ It's official! Councillor Ross Irving has been appointed as our Honorary Custodian of the Federation of Stoke-on-Trent. 🥳 This new role has been created in time for our centenary year to help promote and celebrate our amazing city. ♥️ First elected in 1973, Councillor Irving is the city’s longest serving councillor and has held a number of roles, including serving as the Leader of the Council (2009-2010) and twice serving as Lord Mayor (2017-18 and 2020-21). 👉 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/ezpst_TT
