Josh, violinist and bassist with the Cardiff NOYO Ensemble, shares two reasons why he thinks you should support our Big Give #ChristmasChallenge campaign. 1️⃣ NOYO is unique in offering expert tuition to disabled musicians. 🎻 The NOYO Cardiff Ensemble has organised for Anna from BBC NOW to attend rehearsals, play alongside me, and offer advice and tuition during NOYO sessions. 2️⃣ NOYO opens the door to other opportunities for disabled musicians across the UK. 🎸 I have been able to attend Symphony from Scratch with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, allowing me to play Vaughan Williams’ “A London Symphony” (first movement) alongside a professional musician.
