About us
We champion, develop and invest in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people's lives. We support activities across the arts, museums and libraries – from theatre to digital art, reading to dance, music to literature, and crafts to collections. By 2030 we want England to be a country in which the creativity of each of us is valued and given the chance to flourish and where everyone of us has access to a remarkable range of high quality cultural experiences. Between 2018 and 2022, we will invest £1.45 billion of public money from government and an estimated £860 million from the National Lottery to help deliver this vision.

Did you know there are over 3.5 million jobs across the creative industries? Yet many young people aren't aware of the types of roles available 🤔 We want to change that, which is why we're supporting the Discover Creative Careers programme with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. To mark the week, we’re looking back at our 2023 blog with Mary Rose - the Programme Lead for the #DiscoverCreativeCareers programme. She told us all about the programme, why it’s so important and the benefits it has for the creative and cultural sector 👉 https://buff.ly/49CZRui 📷 Image credit: Louise Hayfield-Schiefer
