Delighted to share some exciting news in the world of Digital and Data professionalisation. The Digital Profession Apprenticeship Toolkit has now been launched on FutureNHS. This resource is designed to help NHS organisations expand their Digital and Data workforce through apprenticeship programs. This toolkit supports our goal of achieving digital transformation in health and care services by developing a skilled and diverse talent pool. Happy Friday all! It's been quite a week, so time to reflect on what's gone on and share a few thoughts! Firstly thanks again to everyone involved in #AphASouthEast2024, but especially Jeanette Fraser MSc MBCS and all the team from #KeyAnalytics. Some really inspiring and thought provoking things discussed. Great to see outgoing CEO of AphA Analysts Rony Arafin as well as the new joint incoming CEOs of Emma Wright and Jane Johnston LFEDIP at the event. Also sharing a few thoughts on AphA Analysts and the drive toward professionalisation of the data and analytics workforce and how the National Competency Framework is playing a really fundamental part in supporting the accreditation process. Ruminations on we ensure data and analytics are at the heart of the innovative ways of working that Rt. Hon. Wes Streeting MP is calling on people to share. Implementing new ideas is brilliant, but evaluating that they work and make the impacts we want is vital to ensure we are making the impacts we want to see. In today's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, strong public-private partnerships are crucial to advancing data and analytics across health and care. Together, we can unlock insights to drive proactive, personalised care, optimise resource allocation, and ultimately enhance patient outcomes on a national scale. We have so many great initiatives in place e.g. #FederatedDataPlatform #FrontlineDigitisation and cross-pollination of ideas can only help to breakdown perceived biases and barriers. As AnalystX we are honoured and grateful to Public Policy Projects Lee Davies and Hassan Chaudhury HonFAPM for initiating these data and analytic sessions. Building this future requires more than just access to data—it demands a robust competency framework. Skilled, agile teams are essential to ensure data integrity, security, and scalability, especially as we grapple with the complexities of federated systems.
