South East Digital Skills Development Network
Hospitals and Health Care
An innovative learning and development network offering various opportunities for NHS staff in digital and informatics
About us
The South East Digital Skills Development Network is an innovative learning and development network offering development opportunities from Apprentice through to Director level. Our aim is to 'bring out the best in everyone' and improve leadership, technical and professional skills, raise standards, encourage collaboration and share best practice through economy wide learning. Initially set up to support the development of the finance function, the network has expanded to encompass Digital/Informatics and Procurement staff in its remit. The Network is funded by NHS organisations across the South East which includes Clinical Commissioning Groups, Mental Health, Community, Acute Foundation Trusts to name a few. Each organisation pays an annual subscription based on organisational headcount, which funds the infrastructure of the SDN. Much like the other National Skills Development Networks, we aspire that the South East Skills Development Network will be recognised as a beacon of excellence for the development of the digital/informatics workforce across the region.
