We're thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with PPL - as we host an an online Ask Me Anything on Wednesday 15th January, exclusively for music performers and rights holders in Yorkshire! We’re proud to be supporting the Red Kite Battle of the Bands again in 2025! The evening features bands taking part from 12 different schools within the Red Kite Alliancea cross West Yorkshire , and we’ve been visiting many of them in the lead up to the final to talk about careers in the music industry. Just like earlier this year, we’ll be curating the judging panel and the team will be heading to the event earlier in the day to provide some mentoring and advice to the performers on the day. Discover Creative Careers have launched a new video to take about music careers, featuring Dilettante and members of the Launchpad / Music:Leeds team! The video aims to show all the different jobs and roles involved in support artists, following Dilettante’s recent headline show at The George Tavern and the team at Launchpad, where we are releasing her upcoming album through our EMI North label partnership.
