We had a fantastic working day yesterday at the wonderful Cardiff Innovation Centre #Sbarc. A huge thank you to our hosts Peter Sueref and Empirisys for allowing us to use their office space for the day. It was great to explore new opportunities with you. It was also great to finally meet Ahmed Abdellah and Alun Preece at the Hartree Center. Thank you for all your hard work, Ahmed. The power of proximity! It was a delight attending the Cardiff Hartree Centre SME Hubs 1-year showcase last night. Especially when I realised that so many of the #SMEs to have had support in the first year are from within the #CardiffInnovations community. Physical proximity is a subtle but important factor for business opportunities. Sharing a building with Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd services and academics certainly seems to have paid off in #sbarc. A huge congratulations to Alun Preece and team for empowering SMEs with #AI and #DataAnalytics in the Cardiff Capital Region and Western Gateway.
