Earlier this month, our Head of Customer Strategy Gabriel Ross took part in a webinar hosted by Insurance Post - "First impressions last: Driving growth, retention and inclusivity through improved insurance customer journeys - beginning at the point of purchase" along with Emma Ann Hughes of Insurance Post, Duncan Pagan of Hedron Network, and Danny Gilbert of The Access Group. They talked about the risks of customers leaving after just one bad experience, with the main pain points being: - The amount of questions insurers are asking customers before returning a quote. This is why at Homeprotect, we're tackling this by balancing the need for data with making the harder questions easier to answer - Transparency of what cover customers are buying The key takeaway from the session is for insurers to focus on transparency, especially as they won't be meeting the Consumer Duty regulations until all customers fully understand what they're buying.
