With 34 million videos uploaded to TikTok every day, brands are contributing to the 'info-pocalypse'. So instead of investing in the bandwagon, start by actively listening to Gen Z. And then listen again. Take Monzo Bank, a company that has revolutionised the UK banking landscape. They shift, flex, prioritise and surprise their audiences with new features, new personalisation and a brand voice which feels distinctly, and consistently 'them'. Last Thursday we welcomed the RNLI Digital Team for our first Digital Day 🛟 💭 🙌. A day of workshops, up-skilling, fresh insights, knowledge sharing, getting to know each other, Sandwich Sandwich (who else?) and a little bit of mini golf. Our work with the RNLI is centred around engaging and generating more impact for their next generation of supporters and volunteers. So we laid on an agenda to get things moving: 🗣️ Adrian and Daniel offered up some fresh insights from Shifting States, our new research into Gen Z's beliefs, behaviours and attitudes. 🤔 Matt gave a session on using creative thinking to solve tough problems 🏗️ And kick-started an impressive (and competitive) marshmallow construction competition.
