📢 #MeetTheTeamMondays 🌟 Special 8-Year Anniversary Edition! 🌟 🎯 Meet Andreea Anastasiu, Executive Director at GO Lab! For eight years, Andreea has been instrumental in building bridges between academia and policymakers, transforming how we think about social outcomes. As our Executive Director, she's been a driving force behind GO Lab's evolution into a global hub for outcomes-focused partnerships. 🚀 What's one GO Lab initiative that you're particularly excited about right now? "We are in the final stages of our Life Chances Fund evaluation (https://lnkd.in/eZNYYXiQ) – a truly pioneering project using innovative methodologies like evidence safaris and user-led research. Our final reports will be published this spring, and there's such richness in the data. I'm thrilled about sharing these insights with the policy and practice community, hopefully inspiring the next generation of funds." 🤔 What's one "aha" moment that changed how you think about cross-sector partnerships? "How hard it is to genuinely break institutional barriers and find a common language. For those outside government, it's easy to underestimate the internal pressures, processes, and constraints within the public sector. That's why at GO Lab, we strive to engage with compassion, creating meaningful spaces that foster deeper understanding across sectors." 🎓 What's your top tip for someone new to outcomes-focused partnerships? "Start with the why. Take your time to understand the basics and reflect on: what does focusing on outcomes really mean for my organisation? Why is it important? And who do I need to work with to make this happen? Too often we get approached by organisations excited about the 'social impact bond' label without a clear articulation of their why." 🎶 If your work style had a theme song, what would it be? "Eye of the Tiger 😊" Thank you, Andreea, for eight years of building bridges, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation in social outcomes! 🎉 #SocialImpact #PublicPolicy #Anniversary #GoLab #BSG
