Working hard or hardly working? It’s a question we all ask ourselves, especially on a chilly Monday after the clocks go back, when getting going feels a bit tough! Gen Z creators and entrepreneurs are more often unfairly labeled as “not working hard enough". Grace Beverley is definitely someone challenging that view. She’s a savvy entrepreneur and sustainability advocate who’s redefined modern fitness and lifestyle brands. Known for her sharp business acumen, she founded two successful companies, TALA, a sustainable activewear line, and SHREDDY a fitness app and equipment brand. On her hit podcast, Working Hard, Hardly Working, she dives into the complexities of hustle culture, productivity, and modern success. I had the joy of spotlighting Grace and her successful business and £5m investment raise, on BBC @Radio4's The Bottom Line with Evan Davis for the (unofficial!) Business Awards, and so watching TALA launch in the US and light up Times Square shows the power of purpose-driven success. 🌍✨ Honestly, when I grow up, I want to be like Grace Beverley! 👏 Grace’s journey offers valuable reminders: 💡 Authenticity Matters: Grace built TALA with purpose—she stands by her values in sustainability and isn’t afraid to share the challenges. 📈 Business Savvy: She’s proof that vision and grit catch investor attention. TALA is more than a brand; it’s a movement. 🎙️ Challenging Norms: On her podcast, Grace redefines success with conversations on ambition, mental health, and sustainable work-life balance. It was an honor to discuss the year’s business highs alongside Jessica Spungin from London Business School and Sir Kenneth Olisa, tech entrepreneur and London’s Lord-Lieutenant. Grace is the perfect Glitterati icon—someone I’m thrilled to help others emulate through Glittersphere. Here’s to more bold, brilliant women turning vision into impact and blazing trails! 💫 So, is “working hard” evolving with a new generation, or are we just rethinking what success looks like? 💬 #TheBottomLine #GraceBeverley #PurposeDriven #WorkingHardHardlyWorking #Glitterati #WomenInBusiness #ThoughtLeadership 8 #30dayclub #MicroBlog
