What if the primary source of system stability was the grid itself? EU energy security requires an electricity grid that is flexible to the nature of electricity generation and consumption. The challenge comes with integrating all types of energy resources, including volatile renewables, and maintaining a stable and balanced grid. A fleet of Enoda PRIME® Exchangers can enable the grid to become the primary source of system stability, removing constraints to distributed energy resources and ultimately increasing the capacity of the existing network. President Trump: climate policy catastrophe or a new path? In his latest article, ENODA's Paul Domjan outlines why the new Trump administration could spell the end for #COP, but does not necessarily signal the end of action on climate change; instead, it may pave the way for exploring alternative strategies. "This may not be the solution to climate change for which many campaigners and policymakers have strived, but it’s certainly one worth having.” Read the full article now: https://lnkd.in/erU6w333

In an exclusive feature with Energy Voice, ENODA’s Paul Domjan outlines why the new Trump administration could spell the end for COP, but does not need be the end of action on climate change, rather a decisive pivot to a new approach that combines clean manufacturing, energy innovation, climate adaptation, and a responsible, low-emission sunset for oil and gas production. “This may not be the solution to climate change for which many campaigners and policymakers have strived, but it’s certainly one worth having.” Read the full article now: https://lnkd.in/ep-fRKBW

This Monday, Web3 Regulatory and Policy officer, Eva Jovanova, participated in the Blockchain & Sustainability Conference at UCL. Eva participated in an engaging panel discussing real-world applications of blockchain in sustainability and energy. Eva was joined by UCL Professor, Dr. Tomaso Aste, Dr. Giuseppe Destefanis, and Tesfaye Salarin, who each explored various ways blockchain can advance sustainability efforts. The panel was moderated by UCL prof. Dr. Silvia Bartolucci who challenged the panellists to go beyond the realms of their expertise and link blockchain policy with various real-world examples. Eva highlighted ENODA’s vision to leverage blockchain technology for better coordination of renewables and substation devices within the grid. The panelists also discussed the use of blockchain for ESG initiatives, examining how Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) could enhance traditional ESG practices. During her talk, Eva emphasised the impact of policies and regulations that often favour legacy systems over emerging innovations in critical national infrastructure. Eva expressed concern about the tendency of many jurisdictions to proactively design regulatory frameworks that inadvertently hinder the implementation of decentralised software in grid infrastructure. ENODA advocates for technology-neutral policies. Avoiding prescriptive policies is crucial for enabling companies to innovate with blockchain solutions in the energy sector.

Texas’ energy grid is under immense pressure, with extreme weather events revealing its vulnerabilities in both policy and resilience/infrastructure/stability. While integrating cryptocurrency miners into demand-response programs offers short-term benefits, it’s not a sustainable solution for long-term grid stability. In her latest article, ENODA’s Web3 Regulatory & Policy Officer Eva Jovanova explores the critical need for genuine grid flexibility, focusing on advanced demand-response technologies that offer a more strategic approach. Learn why Texas must prioritise long-term investments in grid infrastructure and technology-neutral policies: https://lnkd.in/efFcgkYt
