We kicked off with a powerful keynote from Yewande Abiose, followed by a brilliant and AUTHENTIC panel featuring Yewande, Alessandro (Alex) Storer, Edwin Ehiorobo, and Taylor Mirkarimi; led by the incredible Lara Bernard as chair. The discussions left the audience truly energized, and the food from Chuku's - Nigerian Tapas Restaurant added the perfect touch! Energyz Black 2024 Wrapped: A Year of Growth, Connection, and Impact Can you believe it? In just 10 months, we’ve achieved so much together! Energize Mentorship Club (Cohort 1.0) launched🚀 🎉 We are thrilled to announce the launch of Energize Mentorship Club (EMC), a key initiative designed to connect experienced industry professionals with emerging Black talents, offering tailored mentorship to drive professional growth, leadership opportunity, career advancement, and greater inclusion in the energy and sustainability fields in the UK. The Energize Mentorship Club will support 5–10 Black professionals per cohort, equipping them with the guidance and tools necessary to excel in their careers through strategic one-on-one mentorship. The first cohort has just kicked off and comprises 9 mentees matched with mentors from diverse career paths in the energy sector including engineering, consulting, energy analysis, and management.
