It was a sweet day at En Route as we embraced our inner chocoholics with an incredible session led by our Food Development Manager, Sinead Ferguson. Sinead took us through chocolate trends, our suppliers, future opportunities, and the impact of pricing changes in the market. We also got hands-on with chocolate-tasting, a quiz to identify bars with their branding removed, and a fun vegan chocolate challenge - where some very confident answers turned out to be very wrong! To top it off, we hid a golden ticket in the office. Congratulations to Procurement Category Manager Bav, who found it within 5 minutes, winning a delicious advent calendar from our supplier, Lily O’Brien’s! These internal events run by our NPD team are not only informative but also a great way to learn more about our passenger solutions at En Route. A special thanks to Lily O'Brien's and Chocolat Mathez for the delicious chocolate offerings that made the session extra special. What an incredible weekend at the Dubai Rugby 7s! We were honoured to partner with @Emirates to deliver our premium cheese hospitality experience at the Dubai Rugby 7s. From Nov 30 to Dec 1, our team curated an unforgettable culinary journey featuring a world-class selection of cheeses with perfectly paired garnish and accompaniments to entertain hospitality guests. The energy on the field was unmatched, and we’re proud to have added a touch of indulgence to the excitement off the field. Surprising and delighting guests from across the globe as they enjoy our carefully crafted offerings is always the highlight of our involvement at any event, and this was no different. A big thank you to Emirates for trusting us to elevate this prestigious event, and to everyone who visited our cheese experience. We had a fantastic time at today's Earl of Sandwich event with our incredible NPD Meal Solutions and Snacking team! From tasting creative sandwich masterpieces to learning more about our sandwich portfolio, the day was filled with innovation, delicious flavours, and a healthy dose of competition. A huge congratulations to Alice Harvey, who took home the crown with her winning creation: a Piri Piri chicken, toasted sweetcorn, and creamy goat’s cheese ciabatta – a flavour-packed triumph!    Shout out to our runners-up: Emma Wareing with her Italian Sub, featuring Italian meats, burrata, and pesto. Emma Stride with her Savoury halloumi with sweet honey and sundried tomatoes ciabatta A massive thank you to Sarah Dale for preparing all the sandwiches, and to Helen Dore and Sarah for their insightful talk on how we’re elevating sandwich offerings for our customers.   It’s fantastic to showcase exactly what we’re producing to the wider office, giving everyone the chance to get hands-on with our products. We were thrilled to bring our signature Cheese Experience to the prestigious 5* ANdAZ in London, for an exclusive event, marking the recent opening of the Emirates Lounge at Stansted Airport. Guests were treated to a world-class selection of cheeses that have flown on Emirates’ first and business cabins this year, and were safe in the hands of our experienced NPD team and our exceptional cheese partners, Bradburys Cheese. The event was made even more special with the attendance of our Managing Director, Nick Wiley. This marks another milestone in our ongoing partnership with Emirates, following a fantastic summer of supporting events at Emirates Old Trafford, and the DP World Tour in Dubai. We’re ending the season on a high by teaming up with Emirates and dnata at the Rugby 7s in Dubai.
