So, what’s behind this? 💼 There are more highly-educated workers than the UK job market needs. ⚙️ Many businesses rely on lower-skill, lower-wage roles. 🎓 There’s also a mismatch between the skills people are trained for and what employers actually need. This has got people talking about the value of university degrees. Should we be doing more to encourage apprenticeships or vocational training? Or do degrees still hold a key place in opening doors for people and offering broader benefits?
