Fantastic video from our Employer Engagement team. A huge thank you to our employer and CPN partners that took part in the Purple Tuesday Jobs Fair in Cardiff this month. As a Disability Confident Leader, we are dedicated to closing the disability employment gap, empowering disabled people to thrive at work and in their communities. To mark this year’s Purple Tuesday campaign, we partnered with Cardiff’s biggest shopping centre, St David’s Dewi Sant, to connect local people to a host of employer partners and expert disability organisations. For more than two years we’ve been partnering with St David’s, promoting inclusion by offering invaluable Disability Confident training to more than 200 of their brand partners. 🌴 Cyfle Cymru Pop-Up Café Goes Jamaican Today! 🍛 Today, Cyfle Cymru’s pop-up café brought the flavors of Jamaica to the Wallich Solutions Centre! 🇯🇲✨ We cooked up a traditional feast of Ackee, saltfish fritters, dumplings, fried plantain, and rice for 20 service users and staff. The warmth of the food matched the warmth of the smiles! Our amazing participants Lincoln, Claire, and Matty absolutely smashed it today, serving up mouthwatering dishes. A special shout-out to our head chef Lincoln for bringing the authentic Jamaican flavors that had everyone coming back for seconds! 🎉 Nothing beats good food, good people, and giving back to the community. 🌟 #CyfleCymru #PopUpCafe #JamaicanCuisine #CommunitySpirit #AuthenticFlavours #CookingWithHeart

Today’s crisp packet litter pick was a huge success! 🌟 It was wonderful having Mark the Community Network Coordinator from Mirus Wales join us, and a massive thank you to all the Cyfle Cymru participants who attended. It was a fantastic afternoon – we managed to clean up 7 bags of rubbish around Salisbury Rd, Richmond Rd, and City Rd! 🚮✨ Plus, we gathered plenty of crisp packets for our emergency blanket project, which will help make a real difference to those in need this winter. Great work, everyone! 💜🙌 #KeepCardiffTidy #CyfleCymru #CommunityAction #EmergencyBlankets
