Our CEO Austin Casey looks back on 2024 for the Culture Mile BID.
What a 2024 it has been for the Culture Mile BID! ⚪ From Swap Shops to Jazz Festivals, world firsts like Purple Hibiscus at the Barbican Centre to launching our own Public Realm Vision and Strategy, to seeing our Street Ambassadors out on the beat, it’s been a year to be proud of. We’ve been thrilled to see the culmination of the first cycle of our Community Fund and to see the authentic positive impact on the community our member businesses can have. Our walking tours have teased out the rich and varied history of the area and the Summer of Sport in the City campaign highlighted and celebrated the many green spaces in the Culture Mile, giving our stakeholders the opportunity to come together to participate in activities to support their health and wellbeing. 🤝 There are so many partners and individuals to thank for their support this year, especially our Chair, Board and Steering Groups, and of course the City of London Corporation. 🎄 The team and I are so excited for what 2025 will bring, so watch this space……and do get in touch to find out more about getting involved. Have a peaceful and joyful festive season. 📲 Click below to take a look at some of our highlights from 2024: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eFnZ-AuM Brookfield Properties, NLA, London Festival of Architecture, Coverdale Barclay, Steer, AR Urbanism, Reggie London, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Barbican Centre, Barts Health NHS Trust, Centre for London, Greater London Authority, Central London Alliance, City AM, ActionFunder, London Museum, Savills, Mark T Cox, EFG London Jazz Festival
