We’ve been providing the BBC with information and guidance on the EastEnders storyline in which two-year-old Roman is awaiting a liver transplant. In tonight’s episode, it became clear that the living donation route was the best option, something which many of our families have been through https://ow.ly/3Rc050UoehH. Children's Liver Disease Foundation
Non-profit Organization Management
Children's Liver Disease Foundation is the only UK charity dedicated to fighting all childhood liver diseases.
About us
Children's Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF) is the only national charity dedicated to fighting all childhood liver diseases. We help young people and their families by providing: ◘ information ◘ emotional support ◘ funds for research ◘ a voice for everyone affected. Our vision is a world in which young adults and children are not limited by their liver disease; that childhood liver diseases will be understood, prevented and treated effectively, so that every child affected can achieve their full potential. We have now merged with the British Liver Trust so that we are better able to offer information and support to everyone affected by any type of liver disease throughout their lives. We are continuing to deliver all our children's and families services.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our Big Give #ChristmasChallenge this week. So far we've raised over £35,500 which has been match funded and doubled! There is still match funding available, please help us make sure it doesn't go to waste. If we don't reach our goal our Children and Families Service will miss out on a further £4,500 in match funding, so please give what you can to help us unlock the full potential of these vital funds. Donate now to have double the impact for families affected by childhood liver disease. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/eqq-fhmK

Not long to go now for this amazing matched giving opportunity. Any donation, however small, helps towards our £80K target #ChristmasChallenge
There is just 24 hours to go on the Big Give #ChristmasChallenge, and we're so close to reaching our target of £40,000. Every penny of this will be doubled if we reach it - meaning £80,000 to support children, young people and families affected by childhood liver disease. Please donate if you can: https://lnkd.in/eqq-fhmK

We're thrilled to be taking part in this year's Big Give #ChristmasChallenge, which starts today. We have an exciting £80,000 target to raise, which will be used to support our Children and Families Service. 400 babies and children are diagnosed with childhood liver disease every year across the UK - the funds we raise this week will help us to be there for families and young people who's lives have been turned upside down by a diagnosis. It's just one week to go until the start of the Big Give #ChristmasChallenge. Addy's experience going through liver transplant at 11 inspired her to become a nurse. She's also now a mum. Here's her story https://ow.ly/uJuW50U2j0G which she hopes will help other young people facing a liver transplant.

We’re proud to have joined Sustain, The Food Foundation, Obesity Health Alliance and other leading organisations of the #RecipeForChange campaign in an open letter to the Chancellor and Health Secretary calling on the Government to go ‘further and faster’ to build a healthier food industry, as new polling reveals low public trust in companies. The new polling shows 74% of British adults believe that companies are NOT HONEST about the health impacts of their food. Our joint letter to Chancellor Rachel Reeves & Health Secretary Wes Streeting, calls on Government to be much more ambitious in building a healthier food industry #RecipeForChange #publichealth #childhealth #healthyfood #foodindustry #reformulation #foodpolicy #obesity #healthmission #salt #sugar #reformulation #foodindustry Read the full letter here: https://lnkd.in/ehJFgfDh
