Our fabulous Careers Leaders were invited to Beauchamp City Sixth Form for an event and tour yesterday (alongside Mr Hague) and were delighted to bump into several of our CMA alumni! As now already the 3rd biggest feeder to BC6, we look forward to further joint collaboration in the future.

Since last year, we've worked with 1,417 partner schools in England to help develop our brilliant trainees. We want to say a massive thank you and show our appreciation to every single individual—trainee, teacher, support staff, teaching assistant, librarian, receptionist, cook, and so many more—for all your hard work in supporting young people. We hope you all have a wonderful, well-deserved summer break 💙

Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Liz Kendall MP, recently visited a #PLInspires session at Castle Mead Academy, which saw a group of young people learn about different roles within the football industry 😃 Following the visit, Ms Kendall said: "We need all of our young people to fulfil their potential and be the very best that they can be, and I think this is a fantastic example of the difference we can make in giving young people a better life in future. "I have been so impressed by all the different programmes that The Premier League Charitable Fund and Leicester City in the Community have done, making a real difference to young people's lives." 🗣️ The Mead Educational Trust

Farewell to Our Founding Principal! 💙 After 5 incredible years, we bid a fond farewell to our founding principal, Mr Hague. From the very beginning, he has been the cornerstone of Castle Mead Academy, shaping our school into the vibrant community it is today. His vision, dedication, and tireless efforts have left a mark on our scholars, staff, and families. As he takes his final bow, we want him to know that his impact will be felt for years to come. It's time to pass the baton to Miss French, who we are excited to welcome as our new Principal. Thank you to Mr Hague for everything he has done for our school community. His leadership has been inspirational, and he will be deeply missed. We wish him all the best in his new role as School Director at The Mead Educational Trust.

"We’ve had a careers programme right from Year 7 until now and the careers team has been stronger than ever, supporting us in our journey after school. “I’d like to go into the medical field. So, after A-levels, I'm keen to go to medical school. “I think I can speak for the group and say we're very prepared for our exams and next steps. “We've been armed with the knowledge, the confidence, and the resilience to get through the next six or seven weeks. “It's our time to shine.
