Last Tuesday we were pleased to attend Wiltshire Employment Support Team’s (WEST) first ever reverse job fair. Hosted at county hall, this event provided an incredible opportunity for businesses to meet talented young individuals who were eager to find employment or supported placements. This event offered a unique opportunity for businesses to connect directly with young people looking to join the workforce. Business participation in these initiatives is essential and events like this help to create more inclusive workplaces. The event was a great success and supported Wiltshire’s efforts to ensure all young people have access to meaningful opportunities. Led by Malindi Myers, Agent for the Bank of England’s South West Agency, our sessions in Bath and Bristol delved into the Bank’s latest analysis and forecasts on key economic indicators, including GDP, labour market trends, inflation, and the monetary policy response. One way that businesses can get involved in shaping decisions and forecasts is through participating in surveys, such as our Quarterly Economic Survey.
