The BDA NI HDS Forum successfully organised the HDS Study Day on Monday 4 November at the Dunadry Hotel in Antrim. I had a wonderful time attending my first British Dental Association NI Hospital Study Day in the Dunadry Hotel in Antrim last week! A nice day of networking with other hospital dentists and fellow BDA members, as well as some wonderful talks. It was a great opportunity for me as a 1st year Dental Core Trainee to hear from some top class speakers from the world of hospital dentistry. The discussions covering radiography from Stephen Briggs and Orlagh McPolin were very interesting, and always useful to cover areas I haven’t in a while! A massive shout out also to my Belfast Health and Social Care Trust DCT colleagues Rowan, Zeena and Caoimhe for their brilliant QI presentations - very well done! Always good to hear from Stephanie Gribben from Colgate-Palmolive and Phil and Declan from M&D Financial Management Ltd as well - credit to them for their enlightening chats, and thanks to them also for sponsoring the event!
