Over the last 12 months, we’ve had a lot of questions about whether social media encourages young people to use skincare products not designed for them. Now, new data has shown that the use of inappropriate products among young people is increasing. The British Journal of Dermatology is seeking a Patient Associate Editor (PAE) to support the journal's reach to patients and the public. This is a voluntary role, suited for a person with prior experience in patient advocacy, or who has been involved as a patient representative in some capacity. Experience in dermatology research and healthcare is desireable, but not necessary. The deadline to apply for this role is 6 January 2025. You can find out more information here:
