  • Tuesday 3rd December is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. So Bristol Airport and ABM UK, our service provider for passengers with reduced mobility, are marking the day! #PositivelyPurple is a global movement that celebrates employees working with a hidden or visible disability or ill health while flourishing at work. Inclusivity is important and we want to ensure everyone can be their authentic selves. If you're visiting the airport today, you may notice our 'purple-ified' ABM desks (and some purple sweets, too!). 💜 #BristolAirport #ABMUK #AccessibilityForAll #HiddenDisabilities #DisabilityInclusion

  • Bristol Airport is inviting expressions of interest from potential partners to take part in a tendering process for a provision of a quick serve or fast-food outlet within the landside concourse of the main terminal building. Applications would be particularly welcome from those who can offer a wide-ranging menu that would appeal to our large customer base. Rupert Lawrie, Commercial Director, Bristol Airport said: “We look forward to hearing from companies, who can offer quality hot food, quickly and consistently, on demand. With over 10 million passengers a year passing through our doors this is a great opportunity, and we are keen to hear from businesses who can cater for all dietary requirements whether it’s breakfast time, dinner or a late-night snack.” The unit will be accessible to both departing and arriving passengers and will need to be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Suppliers are invited to express an interest by contacting [email protected] by Wednesday 27th November.
