#Spotted! 🚨 Our Co-CEO Natalie Campbell MBE featured in City AM earlier this month! 📰 Natalie reflects on her career journey, from her first job in the City to becoming the Co-CEO of Belu. She shares what she loves most about London (hint: its endless possibilities 🌆), her proudest moments, and a glimpse into the sustainability-focussed mission that drives her work. Natalie also gave a special mention to some of her favourite dining spots (all members of the Belu Collective of course) — @Akara, Apricity Restaurant, and @Brutto—perfect places for a meal or a drink after work! 🥘🍷 We couldn’t be prouder to see Natalie highlight our purpose - and share how we're changing the way the world sees water. Thanks City AM 🌍 Read the full article below ⬇️

Reflecting on your career journey is a privilege not often taken, but one which I would encourage everyone to do. I’ve been a bit quiet on socials recently as I’m still pondering the past year. Answering questions for City AM brought back some happy memories. I enjoyed sharing my career ‘firsts’, musings about London, my ‘favourites’ and top spots with City AM’s Square Mile & Me. I hope you give some of my recommendations a go!

Thanks Lela London via Forbes for the brilliant questions. We covered a lot of ground: lots of ‘whys’ - why Belu stopped buying carbon credits before the rest of the market. - why good goverance is key in purpose-led businesses and… - why Belu wants to change the way the world sees water! Snippet: “Water was not even on the COP agenda until three years ago, which shocks me, given the fact that without water, in 24 hours, we are dead. The planet does not survive without water,” Campbell states, with the expected frustration of someone dedicating their life to a critical cause. With all the facts and warnings considered, it’s clear a broader, more ingrained perception shift is required for people to truly understand the gravity of the issue. “It won't be until there is a mass, mainstream day where people go to their tap and the thing they expect and take for granted—turning on the tap and water coming out—doesn't happen, it won't be front of mind for most people, because people don't see water.” https://lnkd.in/geNXTdjS

Sustainability starts with water and to bring water to the forefront CCEP have put together a water report exploring the urgent need for holistic water management within the beverage industry, focusing on water scarcity and regenerative practices. The report highlights initiatives like advanced irrigation techniques for horticulture and collaborations to improve water stewardship across supply chains. Our Director of Supply Chain Operations, Nolan Wright emphasises the importance of a comprehensive approach, stating, “It looks at this vital resource as a whole, at every stage of the process - and that’s key because people don’t always consider it that way.” This underscores the value of integrating water sustainability at all operational levels.
