🚗 The latest automotive news round-up: Global sales of fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles rose for a seventh consecutive month in November, jumping 32% for a third consecutive record high. The European Commission is not considering changing Europe's policies to cut CO2 emissions from cars, despite a push to weaken the laws. General Motors has announced it will end robotaxi development at its majority-owned, Cruise business. The company had invested more than $10 billion in Cruise since 2016. China's NIO has announced it will look to improve efficiency and cost control to improve sales growth, despite 30-40% growth in the last 3 years. Ferrari will always make its luxury sports car in its hometown of Maranello, northern Italy, including its first fully electric model, its CEO said this week. Uber and Carrefour Energies have announced a partnership on EV charging points, it was announced this week. #automotiveindustry #news
