"The preparation for the review was efficient and supportive, giving us a clear framework so that we knew exactly what the review would involve. The scope was tailored to our college’s circumstances. Throughout the review process itself, the reviewer exhibited a high level of professionalism and objectivity. Her comprehensive understanding of governance best practices within the FE sector was evident in her approach. She was able to understand our college’s context and provided valuable insights from her wide experience in the sector which led to supportive and developmental dialogue throughout the process. The final report was a thorough document which recognised and celebrated the strengths of our governance. It provided clear and actionable recommendations for enhancements, which will result in positive improvements in our processes going forward."
