Today I completed my work with NHS England's project to get the first foundation GP IT system in 25 years go live. A very motivating time in a brilliant team with very knowledgable clinicians and very talented supplier contacts from Medicus. I really hope Medicus is taken up by GP practices across the country. It will be a more efficient and easier system to use in clinics.

Today, we hosted the Ahead Partnership Steering Group meeting at our office in Leeds, bringing together staff from Ahead Partnership alongside sponsorship and education partners. The meeting focused on the impressive progress of the Growing Talent Digital Leeds (GTDL) programme this year and its positive impact on young people in Leeds. A member of staff from Carr Manor Community School shared an inspiring story about two pupils who participated in work experience placements organized by Ahead Partnership with a GTDL sponsor company. These experiences motivated them to apply to study Computer Science at Post 16, setting their sights on careers in the digital sector. Stories like these highlight the meaningful outcomes of the GTDL programme.
