🌍 A New Step in Strengthening International Cooperation. "A tremendous step toward strengthening our business and expanding the horizons of cooperation." This is how Estonian business representatives described their recent visit to Ukraine. On November 19, 2024, the Volyn Chamber of Commerce and Industry had the honor of hosting a delegation of 10 Estonian entrepreneurs. This visit created unique opportunities for Ukrainian companies to broaden their cooperation networks, explore new markets, and exchange valuable experiences. The business mission was jointly organized by the Chernihiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Volyn Chamber of Commerce and Industry, initiated by Eesti Kaubandus-Tööstuskoda, and supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia. The delegation also visited leading Ukrainian companies, including: ✅ PJSC Edelvika ✅ PJSC VGP (TM "Ruta") ✅ SP LLC Modern Expo This visit was far more than a formal event—it was an inspiring exchange of innovations, ideas, and growth perspectives. 📢 Volyn Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the VII National SME Forum: “Uniting for Resilience and Recovery” On November 8, 2024, a delegation from the Volyn Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the VII National SME Forum held in Kyiv. The event brought together over 200 representatives from SMEs, government bodies, embassies, international organizations, projects, business associations, support organizations, experts, and business media to discuss the theme, “Uniting for Resilience and Recovery.” 👉 For the second time, the forum welcomed the distinguished guest, John Denton, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce. 💼 Key discussion topics included: ✅ Economic recovery for SMEs ✅ “Made in Ukraine” policy and local producer support ✅ International technical support for entrepreneurship ✅ Export development tools for SMEs Highlights included insights on support programs for SMEs and inspiring success stories from entrepreneurs across various regions and sectors in Ukraine. ☑️ Tetyana Berezhna, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, engaged in meaningful discussions with entrepreneurs, addressing their needs directly. ☑️ JETRO Ukraine leadership emphasized Japan’s strong SME-driven economy, stressing the importance of focusing on SME support and introducing available tools for Ukrainian companies. This forum provided an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts, share experiences, and identify strategies for advancing entrepreneurship in Ukraine. We're thrilled to welcome among the participants Alla Teliha - co-founder of the franchising networks Halia Baluvana and Wesoła Pani🎉 Halia Baluvana is a well-known company both in the Volyn region and throughout Ukraine. It's already successfully entering international markets with the Wesoła Pani brand. This is Ukraine's largest franchising network of stores offering frozen homemade dishes. From the beginning, the production included traditional Ukrainian dumplings, dumplings, cheesecakes, cutlets, stuffed cabbage rolls, and potato products. The range is constantly expanding, featuring numerous ready-made meals and confectionery items as well. 🍲🍰 The uniqueness of the products lies in their production directly in glass-fronted facilities and their quick preparation at home.🔥 The Halia Baluvana brand has changed the conventional approach to semi-finished products by introducing tasty artisanal products of restaurant quality at affordable prices. The "behind glass" production concept has been a magnet, simultaneously boosting consumer trust. The brand's success has been aided by a well-thought-out marketing strategy, store concept, and the growing popularity of the category, especially during the pandemic. Over the past years, the network has expanded to over 900 stores. 🛒🌟 Abroad, Alla, along with co-founders Diana Teliha and Vladyslav Azovskyi, is developing the franchising network Wesoła Pani. The network's stores operate in Poland, the Netherlands, with partners in Lithuania and the Czech Republic preparing for launch. There are also inquiries for specific product categories, particularly from store owners in Germany. And here's an insider tip - just recently, the company's first franchise was purchased in the USA!🌍🇺🇸 At Alla's invitation, we visited one of the "Halia Baluvana" network stores in Lutsk. During the tour, we witnessed firsthand the processes and standards (they have implemented the HACCP system). 🏪 The success story of the brand is primarily about the people behind it, investing their energy, talent, and knowledge into business development. The company continuously introduces innovations that enable it to stay "in the market," meet consumer expectations, who seek variety, and drive niche development. Interestingly, each employee produces an average of 50 kg of product per shift. We sincerely thank Alla, who introduced all the processes and recipes, for the invitation. We are confident that joining the Volyn Chamber of Commerce and Industry community will provide a new impetus for expanding the network and opening up new international markets. 🤝
