Carly Fiorina steals the spotlight in GOP debate

With 11 Republicans vying for attention during the CNN debate Wednesday, it was hard for some to get a word in edgewise. Carly Fiorina was able to not only fire back at Donald Trump over comments he made about her face, but also received some of the loudest cheers of the night for her stance on Planned Parenthood.

Fiorina passionately spoke out against the Iran deal and Planned Parenthood tapes that she said show "a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking, while someone says. 'We have to keep it alive to harvest its brain.'" She dared Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to watch the videos. "This is about the character of our nation, and if we will not stand up and ask President Obama to veto this bill, shame on us," she said to thunderous applause, referring to a proposed bill to defund Planned Parenthood.

Minutes later, Fiorina was asked for her thoughts on Trump saying in Rolling Stone: "Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?" "I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said," Fiorina responded. Trump went on to offer a compliment, saying: "She's got a beautiful face and I think she's a beautiful woman." Watch the video below. Catherine Garcia
