1. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcome their 1st child

Rihanna has love on the brain after officially becoming a mom. The "Diamonds" singer and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, according to TMZ. She reportedly gave birth on May 13 — just a few days after Mother's Day — in Los Angeles, though the baby's name hasn't been revealed. The couple announced they were expecting a child back in January, doing so via a photoshoot showing off her baby bump as they walked the chilly streets of New York. They've been together since 2020, and they're both becoming first-time parents just about a month after A$AP Rocky was arrested for allegedly firing a handgun at someone following an argument. Perhaps the rapper can welcome his son into the world with a Fight Club quote: "You met me at a very strange time in my life."

2. 'Stranger Things' creators had a 'total meltdown' after Monopoly game spoiled new season

Do not pass go — go directly to the Upside Down. The creators of Stranger Things, Matt and Ross Duffer, allegedly had a "total meltdown" after a leaked Monopoly game revealed major spoilers for the upcoming season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The game is reportedly an official tie-in for the Netflix show, and a user on Reddit claimed it came from a "nationally recognized retailer" and was "purchased fair and square by a consumer." Images from the game then leaked online, and the Reporter says the Duffers are quite unhappy since it reveals upcoming plot points they've tried to keep under wraps — and they reportedly weren't even consulted about the game. It's unclear how it ended up getting out there before the fourth season debuts next week, but whoever leaked it can presumably expect a visit from the Demogorgon shortly.

3. Viola Davis says a director once called her by his maid's name

Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis has shared a shocking story about a director seeming to confuse her with his maid. Speaking with Variety, the First Lady star recalled a time when a filmmaker wrongly called her Louise, only for her to "find out that it's because his maid's name is Louise." The incident happened "a while ago" when Davis was about 30 years old. She didn't say who the director was, but making matters worse was the fact that it was someone she knew for ten years at that point. "What you have to realize is that those micro-aggressions happen all the time," she said. Davis' answer came after she was asked whether she has "seen change" in the industry and whether the work she's been doing is making progress. After sharing the "Louise" story, she took a pause before adding, "So, that has not changed."

4. Margot Robbie to star in a new 'Ocean's Eleven' movie

Can Warner Bros. hit the jackpot with an Ocean's Eleven prequel? Margot Robbie is set to star in and produce a new movie in the Ocean's Eleven franchise, which Jay Roach will direct. Robbie and Roach previously worked together on the Fox News movie Bombshell, which earned her an Oscar nomination. This comes a few years after Warner Bros. revived the heist franchise with Ocean's 8, a spinoff centering around a female team led by Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett. It performed pretty well, outgrossing the previous two Ocean's films domestically. But this project is apparently unrelated to that, as the Reporter says the Robbie film will be set in Europe in the 1960s. The rest of the cast hasn't been announced, but the film is looking to start production next spring. So if you're an actor and Robbie shows up at your house to declare she's "putting together a team" in the next few months, that's why.

5. Movie where Amy Adams thinks she's turning into a dog sells for $25 million

Is Amy Adams finally going to win her Oscar for playing a woman who thinks she's turning into a dog? Sure, why not! Searchlight Pictures has dropped $25 million on the rights to Nightbitch, a new comedic horror film starring Adams as a woman who "becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into a canine," Deadline reports. Marielle Heller, who helmed A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and Can You Ever Forgive Me?, is directing the film, and it will reportedly be released on Hulu. For Adams, who has been nominated for a whopping six Oscars but never won, this project comes amid a bit of a rough patch that has included a streak of poorly reviewed movies like Hillbilly Elegy, The Woman in the Window, and Dear Evan Hansen. Fingers crossed this one isn't another dog.
