You can add, delete, and reorder slides in a presentation to organize them the way you want. You can also add numbers to your slides.
Add, duplicate, & delete a slide
Insert a slide
- On your Android phone or tablet, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
- At the bottom right, tap New slide .
- Tap the layout you want to add.
Duplicate a slide
- On your Android phone or tablet, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
- At the bottom, touch and hold the slide you want to duplicate.
- If you want to duplicate multiple slides, tap them now.
- Tap Copy .
- Tap Paste .
- The duplicate slide will appear after the original.
Delete a slide
- On your Android phone or tablet, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
- At the bottom, touch and hold the slide you want to delete.
- If you want to delete multiple slides, tap them now.
- Tap More Delete.
Skip or organize your slides
Skip a slide
You can skip a slide when you present a presentation. The slide won’t be deleted, and if you share your presentation with others, people will be able to see the skipped slides.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
- At the bottom, touch and hold the slide you want to skip.
- If you want to skip multiple slides, tap them now.
- Tap More Skip Slide.
- To show a skipped slide, tap Show Slide.
Reorder slides
- On your Android phone or tablet, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
- At the bottom, touch and hold the slide you want to reorder.
- If you want to reorder multiple slides, tap them now.
- Drag the selected slides where you want them.
Number your slides
To number your slides, open your presentation at slides.google.com.
