We are currently seeking a licensed school counselor to join our dedicated team.
As a Licensed School Counselor, your role will help provide guidance and counseling services to our residents and help them take the first steps towards healing.
With a passion for helping others and a commitment to mental healthcare, you will work alongside other licensed professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment to provide the best possible care.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family academic counseling services to residents in a residential setting
Collaborate with other licensed professionals in determining individualized treatment plans for each resident
Monitor and evaluate the progress of residents and adjust treatment plans as needed
Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss resident progress, treatment strategies, and other pertinent issues
Follow ethical and legal standards for counseling and adhere to all facility policies and procedures
Maintain detailed and accurate records for all residents
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
A valid Utah license as a School Counselor
Knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and practices
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
Flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our residents
Able to pass a background check
